Home Cleaning Manager – Part Time

Lemon and Lavender Cleaning Co. is hiring an experienced Home Cleaning Manager to help lead our growing team across Portland, This is a part-time role with potential to grow into full-time as the company expands.

This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who has spent real time in the field, knows how to clean to a high standard, and has experience leading or managing a team.

What You'll Do

• Clean residential homes and occasional commercial accounts when needed (fill-ins, quality checks, new client walkthroughs)
• Train new cleaners in our standards, systems, and eco-friendly product use
• Help manage and support a team of cleaning specialists day-to-day
• Onboard new employees, including paperwork, uniform/supply setup, and field training
• Order and manage cleaning supplies, equipment, and inventory
• Perform quality control inspections and coach team members on improvement areas
• Assist with scheduling and route adjustments in Jobber
• Communicate with clients when needed for walkthroughs, concerns, or special requests
• Help enforce company policies, safety standards, and SDS compliance
• Support hiring — interviews, trial shifts, and reference checks
• Step in as a backup lead when the owners are unavailable

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a professional cleaner (residential and/or commercial)
• Proven management or team lead experience — training, coaching, holding people accountable
• Strong attention to detail and high personal cleaning standards
• Comfortable with computers and basic software: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive)
• Ability to learn and use Jobber for scheduling and job management
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record
• Able to pass a background check
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physically able to lift 25+ lbs and perform cleaning tasks throughout a shift
• Professional, dependable, and a strong communicator
• Fluent English required; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Pay & Schedule

• $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience
• Part-time to start, with a potential to full-time as the team grows
